Legenda Aurea wins the Battle of Metal at Z7 in Pratteln.
The varied music offering a positive surprise, especially because the quality of most bands is worth listening to. the Swiss rock bands Legenda Aurea, Appearance of Nothing, Pregnancy, Angry bastard, Confector and Cyanides have played for a gig at the Metalfest in Z7. The winner is Legenda Aurea, with its progressive metal, and the angelic voice of Simone, the frontwoman of the band.

The W:O:A Metal Battle 2010 will have 25 participants including new countries like Great Britain, Czechia, Portugal and Denmark. Although W:O:A Metal Battle will only start in 2010, Great Britain already has ascertained its national winner: SNAKEBITE has settled the race of the national final at the Bloodstock Open Air 2009 and will represent Great Britain at the international Metal Battle final at the W:O:A 2010.
